Our story started as a coffee date to catch up.

Little did we know, it was going to turn into something so much greater than that. Over the years, not only has our relationship grown, but our love for photography has too. So we said to ourselves "Why not do this together?". We have shot countless weddings, witnessed beautiful engagements, and have met so many amazing couples along the way.

PHOTOGRAPHER

I’m Colby

I am a photographer from Northern California, and have been a wedding photographer for the past 4 years. a little bit about me; I’m also a licensed Real Estate Agent. I love to explore, I am a foodie/coffee addict, and a total gearhead. Whether it's going out for a Sunday drive, or working on my motorcycles, it is what I am passionate about. If I'm not at a wedding, or in my office editing, you will find me in the garage with a coffee in hand.

I'm Sarah

I was born and raised in Northern California, but have a heart for Southern California sunshine. A couple years ago by chance I found myself with a new passion for photography while I was falling in love with the man who was teaching me. While I love photography, I have a passion for learning so my hobbies include reading, which means copious amounts of novels in our home. If you don’t catch my nose in a book, or behind a camera, I love cooking in the kitchen and make a mean fried chicken.

 
 
 

This is not just a job of ours

but a passion, every session, every wedding is personal to us, a memory we get to cherish for the rest of our lives as well, so why not make the best of it for both of us!

 

FAQ

Photos

  • Usually 6 to 8 weeks, but we always send out Sneak peeks after about a week!

  • We use a site called Pixieset! This website allows you to download the whole gallery with a push of a button and a ‘download pin’ we provide you!

  • We unfortunately do not give out raws because of how it does not represent us as Moon & Back Studios. We do, though, offer film photos to any package with an additional charge!

Communication

  • We are pretty much on top of our inquiries, but if you haven’t heard from us, we usually get back to you by the following Monday. Especially if you inquire during the weekend (We’re probably at a wedding or session!)

  • If it’s your first initial inquiry, either right away or by the next following Monday. If this after the initial inquiry, we like to stay in tight communication with the couples we are working with so we are usually pretty immediate with responses

03. Do you travel?

YES! We love to travel! Let's go on an adventure together . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁

04. Do you do prints?

We do! All of our galleries are through "Pixieset" which has a built in print shop!
